The target of the current study was to review and analyze research activities previous studies on cooling techniques for thermal photovoltaic (PV) systems using phase-change materials. These materials have ability absorb release certain amounts potential heat energy by changing their state from phase (solid–liquid) within a small temperature range. been used regulate lower temperature, increase efficiency, extend life solar cells. A host improvements made phase-changing through combined utilization fins in addition nanoscale fluids enhance electrical efficiency. When PCMs, thermal, electrical, overall efficiency improved 26.87%, 17.33%, 40.59%, respectively. nanomaterials increased materials’ specific capacity conductivity, thus reducing plate increasing It found that nanoparticles together with microcapsule had better performance terms Studies indicated variable were not because high cost lack stable operational design.
